here's a site that's at least trying to get the digital experience right.
1) it's a site for insurance - aflac
2) they started with something attractive to an audience to pull them into the digital experience then serve up their message. rather than just hitting the user over the head with the "who we are, what we do, what we want you to do" message that brands are over-eager to get on the first page of every site. sure - sometimes it makes sense to hit them over the head. but sometimes you need to capture their attention, ease them in - then if they've enjoyed the first few seconds of their digital experience, the user is more likely to stick around + more open to the message the brand is really trying to deliver.
