when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie...

ok... now for the food portion of our journey.
night one:: we had *drumroll please* a soft pretzel from a street vendor! {i know. we really do go for the class in all we do.}

but day two... we had lunch at the burger joint, inside the le parker meridien. aka a teeny tiny greasy burger dive inside of a schmancy hotel. who knew? with graffiti on the walls, and cash only payment - we grabbed a seat + chowed down. yeah. it was a $14 burger, but it was pretty darn juicy.
{which means a lot coming from yours truly... if you know me at all, you know i only eat plain burgers with mayo. yep. minimalist lifestyle when it comes to my hamburgers.}
nom nom.

for day two din... we tried out lombardi's.
we flew through times square to get to soho. {so-hooo cute}

cabbies in nyc are nutzo, if you didn't already know...

om nom nom...

we decided to splurge + get a bruschetta appetizer + a pitcher of sangria...

followed by a nyc style pizza with sausage, pepperoni + olives... bliss!

then we decided to hit up a random bar near our hotel in rockafeller center. we ended up at sophia's wine bar. where they play swanky slow tunes + the male bartenders wear tight black t's with white suspenders, complete with sleeve tattoos. *swoon*
i had this lovely glass of sparkling rosé.

nyc is delicious! and again, we had a blast!

have you tried any of these places? if you have, what did you think? what's your favorite place to eat in nyc?

I am still bummed that we didn't find Sophia Wine Bar until our last night there.

Laura, there is a ticket office that you can't miss! It was like $25 bucks and worth it on a clear day.
