cb2 - vote for my lofty little space {pleeease!}
so i know that i work in advertising. and my job is to create contests like the following, not to enter them. but this one was just too tempting!
so i've officially entered the cb2 - the selby - design contest. and now i'm knocking on your door, asking for votes! {sorry!} you can login with facebook connect, or register via email - either way, it takes 45 seconds.
plus, i'll buy you something awesome when your vote propels me into the top fifty to continue on to round two.
click + vote + i'll love you forever.

schweppes turned the geiser of Paco de Arcos (Portugal) into a sweet installation + captured the process in another creative way. check out this vid.

de fair! de fair!
i finally made it to the ohio state fair. it was hot. smelly. and full of food on a stick. but... my two highlights of the event...
and the... horses! i still love 'em. yes. i was that weirdo girl in second grade with the horse shirt. my dad + i used to go horseback riding every summer. and i worked meticulously to figure out how it would definitely be okay to have a horse in our backyard {which was a 60 degree hill}
all-in-all the fair was 45 minutes of success.
{except for the fact that they were sold out of deep fried cookie dough.}

{ new purchase }
so i walked in loot recently {an uber shabby chic boutique in the short north} and found this cutesy wicker charger. with my anthropologie blue dinner plate + small scalloped white salad plate, it reminds me of a robins nest. how cute is that. my table is too tiny for for two of them, but it makes a really cute centerpiece!
